Wouldn’t be great to have a nuclear reactor that can work at room temperature and wouldn’t create a radiation at the same time. Hmm…? Yeah, there is a hypothetical type of nuclear reaction which can achieve that according to some scientists.
It is called Cold fusion or Low Energy Nuclear Reaction.
So what is it?
Cold fusion is a hypothetical type of nuclear reaction that would occur at room temperature, compared with temperatures in the millions of degrees that is required for hot fusion. It was proposed to explain reports of anomalously high energy generation under certain specific laboratory conditions. It has been rejected by the mainstream scientific community because the original experimental results could not be replicated consistently and reliably, and because there is no accepted theoretical model of cold fusion.
What are the benefits?
The potential benefits to the human race are enormous. The new form of clean energy and virtually unlimited supply would end wars and affect our economy in the ways we can only imagine. Price of electrical energy would go to the lowest level that was never seen before. Cars, plains, trains, all our vehicles could harvest from that great invention and let us make a huge civilization step forward.
Let’s keep our eyes on this subject because one day we can wake up in totally different world, better world.
